What you can do

A script in, a cut in progress.

Every shot is planned, generated and linked to the next one for continuity.

Plan a shot list from a brief

Describe the story or scene and AI drafts a full numbered list of shots to start from.

Write and refine each prompt

Describe camera movement, lighting and action, then rewrite it with a cinematic prompting guide.

Generate stills or video clips

Pick an image or video model per shot, or set project-wide defaults for both.

Chain shots for continuity

Carry one shot's last frame into the next shot's first frame, one at a time or all at once.

Pull reference images from Studio or Drive

Reuse an image already in your Studio files, or your connected Google Drive, as a first, last, or reference frame.

Assemble the finished film

Export every finished clip into one film, or download each clip on its own.

Getting started

From brief to board in five steps.

  1. 1

    Click "New project"

Set a title, an optional brief and style prompt, and defaults for aspect ratio, resolution and models.

  2. 2

    Click "Plan shots from brief"

AI turns your brief into a numbered shot list, which you can append to the board or use to replace it.

  3. 3

Open a shot and write its prompt

Describe the action, then click "Generate" to render that shot's still or clip with its model.

  4. 4

    Chain frames for continuity

Use "Chain frames" — or drag on the Canvas view — to carry a shot's last frame into the next shot's first frame.

  5. 5

    Click "Generate remaining", then "Export"

Renders every open shot, then assembles the finished clips into one film.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What's a "shot"?

One image or video clip in your board, with its own prompt, model, frames and status — draft, queued, running, done, or failed.

Can AI plan the shots for me?

Yes — write a brief in project settings, then "Plan shots from brief" drafts a numbered shot list you can append to the board or use to replace it.

How do I keep a scene consistent across shots?

Use "Chain frames" to carry a shot's last frame into the next shot's first frame, or set reference images pulled from your Studio files or Google Drive.

What comes out at the end?

Each finished shot is a still image or a video clip. "Export" assembles every finished clip into one film, or you can download clips individually.

Does this use my Studio credits?

Yes — Storyboard shares the same credit balance, model catalogue and file library as Studio. New accounts start with free credits.

Plan your next scene, shot by shot.

Start with a brief, or add shots one at a time — Storyboard keeps them linked.
